The purpose of this study is to establish the concept of lebenskuns, which can actively and enrich the lives of each student as an art of life, from the viewpoint of Wilhelm Schmid’s practical philosophy. For the school and community-based art education model with the value of sustainable development, it is intended to establish the concept of lebenskunst that can be used in the school curriculum. To this end, domestic and foreign research materials were collected, focusing on related terms, from academic search engines such as Google scholar and RISS. Specifically, the meaning of survival, survivalism, and the concept of lebenskunst were summarized from the point of view of practical philosophy. Along with this, It proposes the possibility of the lebenskunst and the direction for the future, and seeks to find the goal within the curriculum.
